Ok guys, I want to hear what's the best lift out there for someone wanting to put a 2.5 lift under their liberty. I like to go to one website and purchase "the right setup." I'm not looking at spacer lifts, I bought a Rusty lift and never put it on. That lift consisted of Rusty's spacers - 2" front and rear. Don't know if any lift setups use the front spacers, for added lift but I still have them. I've read a lot about the website jeepinbyAl. If that's what a lot of people use, then which set up is the best and brings more bang for your buck. I've also heard about and read a little on the Frankinlift. Between the two, which is the best? If I had to buy components seperate, what is the list that I need? Also hearing about a brake line extension? Any information on that would be appreciated. The KJ's have been around for a while now, so someone has perfected the perfect lift. Again, ride is very important, that's why I never installed the Rusty unit and left my rig stock for so long. Again, any an all input would be grately appreciated. Thanks Again, |

If you read on here and other Jeep KJ/KK forums you'll see jeepinbyal mentioned a lot of times. The very best is the adjustable coilover set up, great ride etc Then make your pick from there, OME/ Ironman etc I've ran them all and installed all of them, Ironman rides a bit better some say, I thought they were close to the OME But whats really needed is how you are going to use it, what $$$ do you have to spend, how high do you want to go OH and its good you never installed the Rustys kit you would of been badly disappointed |

Thanks Tommudd, I would be willing to spend around 1200.00 tops, but like anyone else I would love to go cheaper. What will I do with my jeep? Well, since noone in my area runs a lifted Liberty I wanted to do something different. As far as terrian It will mostly be highway, with some light off roading, plus running the beach at the Outter Banks. Again, I don't have to have the top of the line, but not worth lifting if your going to go cheap. Where do you find the iron man lift that you speak of? That's one I haven't heard. Again, all the details you can give me about the lifts we mentioned would be great. Again, I'm only looking to go 2.5 inches. Thanks Again, for all your help. |

jeepinbyal sells the Ironman it is on his site. Get the whole kit, which has 4 springs/ 4 shocks If wanting 2.5 inches then use the Ironman plus get a set of " strut plates " also from JBA, that will give you the height you want in the front, add one extra per side upper isolator in the rear and with teraflex bumpstops in front, 2 hockey pucks per side in the rear you have a great ride, 2.5 inch lift when settled in and be ready for some fun |

I love my OME, I can hit dips in the road at 50 that everyone else slows down to 20mph, great set up |
