My jba arms need new bushings? Any tips on taking out the old ones? I've used a air hammer and hammer and chisel to take out the rubber. The only thing I gotta try next is torching out the rubber completely cutting out the sleeves with a dremble. Anyone else try this and have any advise to take these out? |

Have you changed them out before? Did you just cut the lip on the old bushings? There is nothing to grab because the bushing and the a arm are the same size. I'll see if I can cut or grind it out. Really trying not to jack the arms up. |

Ended up having a shop do it and they jacked them up a bit. I sanded the rough spots and repainted the arms. Look brand new and they are rebuilt ready for install. |

A little late but I've used a ball joint service tool from harbor freight to remove bushings on my Mazdaspeed, bet it could work on the UCAs http://www.harborfreight.com/ball-joint ... -4065.html |

I have and use the same style ball joint press. I've used it on control arm bushings for GM pickups and cars. It does work well and only works one side of the control arm at a time, plus being a hand tool you can feel whats going on. I will typically use this over my press on bushings, its a little gentler. |

Hi there, I'd be interested in of these. Are they for a particular purpose, ie fuel gauge or can it be boost pressure etc? Can you ship to Australia? |

Aren't the JBA UCA's guaranteed for life? At least I thought they were in the USA. Last fall I installed a pair of JBA UCA's. I didn't drive my Liberty at all this winter but I've noticed that the bushings appear aged already. That can't be normal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
