Would I be able to get my spedo and abs working or should I not even think about 8.8 swap?

You can get the speedo to work with a 8.8 that has the center speed sensor like the '02-'05 KJ's do,no-go on the ABS though(well reliable ABS).

have been looking for a low milage one for quite some time. That with a store bought four-link like poly performance one and i think id have the rear where I want it even if I decide to SFA instead of the unknowns about doing an at home mid travel ifs setup. 12-14 in travel in the rear and 12 in of ifs travel up front I would definitely think I am dreaming if that happened.

Your never going to get 12"-14" of front travel on a IFS KJ.The SFA guy's using coilovers are using 8"-10" coilovers.I'm only getting 12" of front travel and that is limited since any farther droop on the left front will cause the front yoke/u-joint to hit my long arms so I have limit straps so that does not happen.

I know 12" is a stretch, but note I said dreaming. If i had the cash I would try an make some lower arms that are 2in wider than stock. Then either chop my jba arms and extend them or mock up a whole 2in wider upper arm. Then wish so called cash I wish I had get custom length rcv's, steel diff, and 2.0 If they fit with the extended arms or smaller diameter coil-over. I'm a dreamer try not to stop them. Unless they are worthy of being stomped. :ROTFL:
