Hey everyone,

I am a CRD guy and I currently sell EGR delete kits for that motor. I am working on a new project that applies to all KJs and I wanted to let you guys know about it.

These gauge panels mount to the KJ dash pod vents and retain the use of HVAC and A-pillar grab handle. They fit all 2 1/16" gauges. If you are interested, I have posted all the details in the CRD forum here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=79205

Thanks!
Seth

That's an interesting idea for adding a single gauge or two, or three.

As a vendor are you going to be selling the insert itself without a gauge? Does the insert that the gauge fits into blow air directly into your eyeballs?

The panels do not come with gauges. No the air does not blow on your face.

Just installed the gauges using weeks pods, very nice quality pods, super easy to install. Below are few pics for whoever is interested:

My heater would melt any gauge placed in that spot,I've had to turn the AC on in the winter it get's so hot. They also are starting to melt my in-dash flip-out screen an my radio which is 3" away from them.I have to point them up and to the side or keep the screen closed.

That seems very...odd.

Before i made these panels, myself and a friend with a KJ had GlowShift gauges installed in the center pods for almost 2 years with no issues whatsoever on either Jeep.

Heaters will vary in output temp.Like I said my heater is so hot it started to melt my flip-out screen on my radio that sits 3" away from the center vents. The backs of all my vents are melted, measured the output temp once and it was over 165 degrees.

Wow, that's hot... I wish I had such a hot heater, I haven't been that lucky with any car I had...
