Hey there,

For awhile now my Liberty has been creaking and squeaking and I finally decided to track down the problem. Looks like both my front upper ball joints are shot, no big deal. I'm going to order a set of JBA uppers. My Jeep has a 2.5" Rusty's suspension lift (I know, previous owner did it) and the front has sagged considerably from the rear, probably due to the addition of the ARB bumper a few years ago. Anyway, I went to measure my fender flare height and noticed that not only had my front end sagged, but somehow my back end is messed up as well. Prior to the ARB I was quite level in all four corners, but this is what I get now (flare to ground)...

Front passenger - 33.5"
Front Driver - 33.5"
Rear Passenger - 34.75"
Rear Driver - 34.0"

My original plan was to do a clevis lift in the front to bring it back in line with the rear, but with my rear mismatched like that I really have no idea what to do. I know a popular answer will be do a JBA/Frankenlift but I don't have the money for that, and I don't know how much longer I want to have the Liberty for. Does this mean I have a bad spring/shock in the rear? Should I consider still doing a clevis lift up front and replace the rear springs/shocks? My ultimate goal would be to retain a nice level 2.5" lift all around spending as little money as possible...

Any ideas appreciated. :JEEPIN:

Also measure from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare, takes tire size etc out of the mix. Also gives us a better idea of how much lift you actually have now

From middle of the wheel to fender flare I get

Front passenger - 19.5"
Front Driver - 19.5"
Rear Passenger - 20.75"
Rear Driver - 20.00"

From what I can tell, I don't have much of a lift left do I?

Stock after they lowered them is 19 on the average so you have a small amount of lift left
