I just installed a used clevis lift on my kj to get it off the bump stops since it self lowered before I bought it. Obviously I messed up the alignment badly while trying to get the kit on but I was just wondering if the numbers posted below look right? I'm not having any handling problems and the lift hasn't been on long enough to notice any tire problems yet. I just want to make sure I don't have any tire wear issues down the road.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Used clevis lift?

You have stock arms?

Tell you alignment guy to set the camber and let the caster fall where it does.

Sent with the power of children's screams!!!

It sounds like the springs were sagging so he leveled it with a clevis spacer.

Is it back to stock height?

You guys are good guessers. Ya it was sagged WAY out. Front CV's were pointed up at a 45* angle. I think it's about stock height now. I don't really know what stock height is though cause this thing was so saggy when I bought it. There's some before and after pics on my photobucket page Here:http://s7.photobucket.com/user/buttface20x6/library/Jeep%20Liberty%20lift
All my ball joints are hosed so I'm gonna have to replace them. When I do I'll have to get it aligned again and that's what I'll tell them to do. Hopefully it won't mess anything up too badly til then.
The reason I went with the clevis lift is cause I got it used and I was tired of my spine shooting out top of my neck every time I hit a small bump. I got the clevis lift CHEAP! Eventually I may lift it properly or at least get replacement stock springs.
Thanks for the help!

OH yeah. I do have stock arms too by the way.
The rear seems to sit a little high. I'm gonna have to get a shorter rear spacer or get new rear springs. I carry a lot of weight in the rear so I don't want it to be saggy.
Also the pics on my photobucket are with 30.9 inch bfg's. They're stock nissan frontier 4x4 tires that came off my buddies truck when he got 33's.

After they lowered them new stock height was around 19 middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare. The way you measured does not show how much lift or anything since you're including the tire in the mix.
As far as ride clevis lift or spacers does not help that any, only new springs and shocks will.
When springs stack, thats all there is, no help for them

I'm just glad it's off the bump-stops. That helps my back tremendously. I think the next step is finding out how to mount these zj leather seats in it that I yanked from a yard years ago.

It looks like from the hub to the fender is 20" in the front and 20.5" in the rear. So with that 3" poly spacer in the rear only like 1" is actual lift, lol. Guess I don't have to worry about longer shocks yet then!
