So my dad picked up a 2005 Liberty CRD the other day. It was running at the time but very rough. It has 100k on the clock and seemed to be a solid Jeep. Anyway we pulled it in the shop and went work. It seems we lost a valve in the fourth cylinder and the head of the valve is stuck in the top of the piston. There is also some minor damage to the bottom of the cylinder head. What we have now. A rolling Jeep chassis trans still installed and the engine and all accessories are sitting in the corner of the shop. The engine is in pieces but it is all there. What do to? What is this thing worth now for parts? IS there somebody who will just come buy and take all of it as is. I think we have decided we don't have to time to fix it and it just all needs to go. Located in North Texas for those interested. Or Is there some one in the Texas or Oklahoma who have a complete running engine for sale. I have been looking and it seems the CRD is kinda rare which makes me think it will be some money for parts. Thanks for the help guys. |

You'll probably get more responses in the CRD section. |

just search on carparts.com and find a junkyard motor and swap it. It's probably the fastest solution to your problem. |
