Post subject:  Roof tray mounted lights - installation advice

Hi all, I've mounted lights to my roof tray and would like some cabling advice.

Firstly, I have a pair of spotlights mounted to the front of the tray (pointing forwards). What is the best way to get the cabling down? I'd like to do it in the most inconspicuous way.

I have also mounted an LED light on the rear, as a rear work light. This one is even more challening. Best way seems to run down inside tailgate window and into car that way. Otherwise I can see no other way but this is precisely why I'd like to hear from someone how may have done this already?

I drilled a hole inthe side of the roof rack mount (its plastic and separates in two halves) and sealed the hole with rtv. From there i ran the wire 12g down the weather stripping between the body and the weather strip into the engine bay under the cowl. Fairly easy, no major holes to drill. At work right now but when im off ill try and put up some pictures for you

On my RL rack I just ran the wires over to the right side and hid them behind the weather stripping, then under the cowl and across, ground is to one of the bolts so only one wire needed to go down if you have a light bar.
