I think that this is a stupid question but I figured I'd ask anyway... if I add a lift kit to my KJ will the stock ball joints be removed and replaced with something else, or will the ball joints always be part of the suspension system? I ask because I need to replace the ball joints on my KJ and would rather just add a lift kit that removes them entirely. |

A lift kit only involves shocks and springs(if a spring lift) or a spacer(if a spacer lift). That's all that will be replaced. If you get new a-arms, the ball joints will be replaced, but that is not part of most kits(obvious exceptions: the tommudd kit and certain jba kits). |

No way to remove the ball joints, part of the overall suspension system. |

correction, no way to remove the upper control arm ball joints on stock arms(this arm often replaced via JBA Upper control arms or what not) the lower control arm ball joints press out / press in (this control arm also isn't replaced by any standard lift that im aware of) |
