| Post subject: | Quiet squeaking while rolling, faster with speed (after OME) |
I get a constant, but quiet squeaking while rolling at low speeds (<40 km/h in gear or N), not sure if it does it while going faster as the tires and wind get too loud. I do have a left wheel bearing that is going and makes a hum (typical - goes away when turning wheel to right). Could it be related to this? It almost sounds like the CV boot pleats are touching and making noise - is that possible at 21.5" at the front? -Brake pads are greased up in the carrier. Tire spins freely when jacked off the ground (no brake dragging). -All bolts tightened when on the ground. -OME 927 on ironman, no clevis lift. TIA |
