I need help identifying the MOPAR part numbers. I am resurrecting an "old" topic for the benefit of my son (similar, old post; viewtopic.php?f=45&t=57725). I recently purchased a 2005 Liberty Renegade for my son. The Renegade does not have the off road light bar factory installed. I purchased a used light bar off of Craigslist but similar to other posts, I am missing at least two parts/wiring harnesses. These are the part numbers I have identified: 82206126AC is complete light bar kit (I only have the light bar; support/lamps, black light bar cover, lamp covers) 56050301AA is wiring harness with 1-in rubber grommet (supplies power from connector in A-pillar, through roof, and to light bar) (I have this part) 56010417AC is switch that mounts in instrument panel bezel (I have this part) 0XW301DVAA 1 quartz colored bezel (I have this part) 0XW301L8AA 1 brown colored bezel I found the light bar installation instructions online. The two wiring harnesses I am missing and trying to identify are labelled as "H" and "L" in the instructions. ![]() I have; "A", "D", "F", "M", "N" and "Q". Stopped by the parts counter at my local Jeep dealer and have eliminated these part numbers; 52112092AE and 52112062AE. But the identificaion of the actual parts I need, are not easily found. I have checked and the wiring was not installed from the factory. Any help is appreciated! Thank you |

Can anyone share information on the OEM light bar switch? Simply trying to understand how to utilize the factory switch. Seems like a "momentary" switch and I have read other places about the switch itself containing a relay.? |

Yes the switch itself has a integrated relay. |

Thank you for the response. How does the light bar get turned off? This is what I am deducing... turning headlamps on "high" allows activation of roof top light bar. Dimming headlamps turns light bar off.? Is this correct? Thank you!! |

Use the switch to turn off the lightbar.I don't know how the factory installed lightbar works but mine(installed myself) turns on anytime the ignition is in "Run". |

Okay I am beginning to think my switch is shot. The switch I got is used, however it is the factory OEM switch, but the switch rocks "on" only momentarily (springs back to "off" position??)... acts like a normally-closed, momentary switch - initially thought the switch was used to turn lights on (activate relay), but I can't imagine a way to shut-off (deactivate relay) using this same switch. I am looking for verification that my switch is mechanically not "functioning" properly. I also applied 12Vdc across pin #'s 6 (panel lamp cluster) and 4 (ground) expecting the 'backlight' to illuminate. I get nothing.? |

Surprise, my switch does work... so, finally installed light bar with OEM switch today. Everything works! Seems as though I am four years behind the rest of you, but if anyone has any related questions? - fire away. I will never know more about the installation of the "factory" light bar than I do right now. I decided to wire using high beam circuit. I turn headlights on, turn on brights, and then hit the OEM switch. Switch is momentary... has one function and that is to turn light bar on. Dim the head lights and the light bar turns off. I like it! 2005 Liberty Renegade. |

Lessons learned: Couldn't make sense of OEM switch configuration, then realized every pin diagram was for the switch connector not the switch itself... actual switch pins are flipped but mirrored vertically. Received the following OEM switch diagram from local Jeep dealer: ![]() Made up my own overall wiring diagram for all the circuits/connections: ![]() I hope this helps someone else down the road.? |
