My 03 Liberty transfer case seems to be in between gears. I have the transfer case with full and part time 4 wd. The handle move easy enough but seems like its grinding and rattling like crazy. Any help you be apprenticed. Thanks |

Sounds more like your driveshaft head has gone bad (shaft seal at the transfer case). Sounds like a bunch of wrenches are stuck between your brakes, especially when you put it in 4x4? Costs about $50, and an hour of your time. Very common problem that sounds waaaayyyyy worse than it really is. |

I have the same thing going on. Does anybody know if this is covered by the lifetime powertrain warranty ?? |
