Has anyone found out what other Jeep vehicles nicer leather seats will fit in a KJ?

I was thinking more like if a grand Cherokee seat would fit. Going to junk yard and getting seats.

I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a seat that would fit a Liberty. They've got a rather awkward body shape. I had fabric seats that got destroyed on an ill-fated camping trip, and ended up getting custom made leather seats. That may be your best option, if the price isn't too much.

I've seen guys put WJ seats in TJ's before. I would imagine they'd fit a kj pretty good. Imo, my 03 kj seats are pretty darn comfortable. I just hate the way the leather ones like to crack on the bottom

It's low on my priority list now. However, I will continue to look. My concern is I would also need rears to match and fit. I really like the current split fold-down..so, I may have to just use covers.

Reason I want leather is I take the boat out a lot in summer and will have Family with possible wet swimwear.

My understanding is that the KK 08-12 seats will directly replace the KJ fronts. I have unsubstantiated rumors that PT Cruiser seatds are much better and will fit. Still looking for confirmation on that though.

Are the 02-04 KJ seats better than the 05-07s?
