Long Story Short...CRD with OME Lift...decided I need a bit more...Clevis (3 conduits each side) and Rear Rubber Spring Isolators (2 each side top)...netted .75" front and rear. Did both front and rear brakes with drilled and slotted PowerStop Rotors/New Pads. JBA UCA and Moog LBJ replaced. Rear Control Arm (bushing and joints toast) and Cast Iron Bracket (cracked...part sits on front of rear diff) both replaced. Mr Gasket 2370 .21" wheel spacers added front and rear so the JBA UCA would clear tires and rim (was resting on tire after install). Alignment!

Result...all my clunks and wandering across lanes is gone. Definitely Smoother Ride! 175,000 miles and rides better than new again!

Where is it sitting at now Darby? ( middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare )
Got a CRD coming tomorrow for a full OME lift ( 790/948s ) and JBA UCAs
He wants about 3-3.25 inches of lift overall and this is my first CRD all the rest have been gassers

21.25" front and 22.25" rear

CVJ Angles are very good at rest

With stock rims I definitely needed wheel spacers...the more you lift and bring the wheels in, at 3+" could be an issue with room between Strut and UCA and CV Axle lengths...rear Control Arm could become an issue too along with rear shock length...2006 CRDs different rear brake lines lengths also (I think OME kit for 2006 came with a brake line relocation bracket)

Not on completely level ground Drivers Side CVJoint

Passenger Side CVJoint

Rear Brake Line Bracket and Two Extra Rear Spring Isolators on top of rear spring

I think I am going this same route except use JBA's 2.5" rear springs instead of the extra isos. I wanted to go JBA lift, but then I realized i dont really care that much.

With OME springs you'll have the same amount of lift basically as the 2.5 from JBA

My KJ's lift has settled down to 21.25" Front and 22.25" rear or so. Measuring to the plastic fenders is not the most accurate surface to take measurements...but it works good enuff...

Lifting a CRD from Kentucky right now, taking a break from installing the JBA UCAs
Man the gassers are so much easier in that area
But 790s, top plate, small 1/4 inch clevis, extra iso in the rear with 948s.
Getting it aligned, 245-75-16s installed all for him before he picks it back up

Sounds like a great setup...glad my 255/70/16s Cooper AT3 still have 7/32nds tread...or I would be in a quandary deciding to upsize to 245/75/16s or buy new 255/70/16s. These Coopers have been great tires...
