Last year they sent me one too, I sent them the receipt for my Drawtite 2" receiver, I got a phone call back saying that doesn't meet the specs. Please post a pick of that hitch they put on yours... Thanks Ken

Am going to have them install the recall hitch in the next few weeks and am considering asking them to also install the Mopar wiring harness at the same time. Can anyone ballpark how much that part and labor might cost me? I would like to get a small utility trailer to haul random stuff like a snaow blower or motorcycle and it would be nice to have the lights work. Thanks in advance!

it would be a lot cheaper for you to do it your self. parts: $30. that's with out the trailer brake controller. if you go to FCA, they'll charge you in the ball park of $250. the best part about this particular install is that my grandmother could do it with out the instructions!!!

They couldn't do the recall on mine. Said it was "level 5 corrosion" and they couldn't get the bolts to thread in properly. I asked them to just tap new holes in the frame and they refused. So I asked if I could take the hitch with me....didn't go over so well.

I've got some nasty rust on my frame.. If they refuse my recall, I'll ask for a new vehicle. It sounds far fetched right? But other vehicles with rust on the back don't catch fire when hit. Maybe I am being over zealous ? But I bought my Libby pre recall. And the rust was there... Pre recall. Every other vehicle on the road here in Ontario.. Has rust. Do they catch fire? No.

Hi All

This is the solution they have come up with for Australia.
