firestone can't get the caster in spec and said that this would solve the problem.
What do thine gurus think?

What exactly is the issue with caster? Not enough or too much? Caster is the most misunderstood of all automotive geometric equations. And the most catch all excuse when we in the auto industry can't figure out WTF is going on.

Since your Jeep uses "cam bolt/washer" adjustment mechanism (one of the best methods, by the way) the "not enough threads" is total horse schizzle. Problem with this system comes when with front or rear bolt maxxed out the ball joint hasn't moved far enough forward, or rearward (NOT in and out, that's camber) to reach allowable tolerances. Think of the A arm as a triangle if you move two inner corners of triangle in or out that changes camber. If you move one in and the other out an equal amount(shifting the outer corner of triangle forward or rearward) that's caster.

As TM says, nobody's building such a kit as it would require some method of lengthening one leg of the A arm and shortening the other.

Tom, as a newbie to a site oldtimer, I have no doubt your hearts in the right place and you really want to be helpful, but your "bedside manner" sucks.
