Blows great of #3 & #4 settings, goes completely off on 1 & 2. Most likely the switch, or relay?

Yep. Takes about 10-15 minutes to change the resistor.

Behind the glove box. You can pop the side of the box to let it open out completely, and the resistor is held in by a screw - can't recall the size. You unplug the connector - there's a latch, old resistor off, new one on. I found the hardest part was putting the screw back in - space is a little bit tight!

Do yourself a favor and order a blower resistor from a 2001-2004 Chrysler Sebring. Its made better than the part they put in the Liberty. Direct replacement, no modification required

While you're in there - there's a grate where air recirculates -

tends to get covered in dust -vacuum it and you get better air flow.

O'Reilly lists different part #, but the one for the Lib (BWD) @ $24 has a lifetime warranty.
