This must have happened in the last couple weeks. I thought I would have noticed this when I last washed it a couple weeks ago, but then again I was in a rush to wash it before my brother's wedding. But anyway, last night, I had a leak coming in from my windshield and dripping on my leg. I ended up plugging the leak with plastic on the outside as a temporary fix....and because it was pouring last night to do any other fix. But it did work, lol. But when I got home this morning, I noticed bubbling on my roof a couple inches behind about where it leaked. So I don't know if this was a slow leak that started rotting from the inside out or not or if it is just a coincidence. There was no other water in the headliner than that small leak in the upper driverside corner of the windshield. I attached a picture. Thoughts? Ideas on a fix? Am I totally screwed and my roof is going to completely rot out above me?

So you're saying a bit of cutting and bondo and some painting is in my future, lol. I've never done body work before. How would I go about doing this if it rots through?

No bondo. You must cut it out and weld in new metal.

Bondo is a body filler, not rust repair.

And that first pic is after I jabbed it with a screw driver to trace it all down. It looked just like yours before I went all monkey on it

Thanks for the info. How exactly did you cut it out? What type/size steel did you use?
