Anyone done this until now? Or does the D30 OX-Locker Kit doesn´t fit the D30a?

Any other suggestions for a manual front locker :?:

bye,
samse

I have the OX. And yes it does fit bith the JBA d30 and the D30a. The forward most mount needs a slight mod, but thats super easy with a grinder.

Other than OX theres ARB. Thats it.

Me personally I love OX. No seals to blow, has serveral ways to lock it, and has a emergency lock just in case your electric, air or cable gets messed up.

Either way, go with Air/co2.

The stock mount is straight across. For the OX it needs to be cleared for the bigger cover. Takes 5mins.

OX lock it. Spend the money if you wheel it and do it right!

If your thinking of lockers, OX should be the only locker that should come to mind. Expensive, but its the last locker you'll buy.

Ok, you prefer the air shift -> do you have some more pics from your installation? Where did you gave the compressor? do u use an air tank?

@ all: don´t worry, there´s only one locker for me -> THE OX... i had both lockers (OX and ARB) side-by-side to compare, and the ox locker looks definitley more massiv with stronger teeths...

Get ya a 20oz co2 tank with the OX regulator.

You dont need alot of air for the OX. I just have it for air tools and filling up tires

Arb make small compressors. You can install them almost anywhere on a jeep.

Or buy a cheep compressor and a 2 galon tank. The mod would be less then 50 bucks. The compressor would only be a half duty. Half duty would only be good for short loads.

^^^ good luck finding a cheep compressor that can go to 90 psi without blowing it apart.

Or just spend 20 bucks for a co2 tank like morison.

i could imagine at the same hole, like the parking brake wire?

The air lines just snap onto the cover. My air lines are ran thru the firewall, then down the frame rail. Its a real clean install.

I mounted some hose clamps onto the back of my passenger seat and have a 12oz paintball CO2 that gets secured there. Allows for up to 1200 shifts...so a very long time haha. No need to have an expensive compressor and tank taking up room in the Jeep. Less wires too haha.

Tips on install is simply take it somewhere to be installed...you need another $750 in weird expensive toolso that you'll never use again.
