Jeepin by Al sells lift kits for the KJ.
All J Products sells the Frankenkift package.

OME 2790 front springs (made by ARB) are whats reccomended for a CRD.

Maybe, maybe not.
Most CRD owners only go with 2.5 inch lift.
Too much lift will put the front CV axles into a bind. The axles can be cut/modified for more lift.

Contact Tommudd or Jeepin by Al for advice on max lift and what to do with the CV axles.

Since it looks like I will be attempting to increase ground clearance for the Liberty I need to pay attention to these posts more.

If the JBA coilover system is supposed to be good, is it worth the upgrade to fox coilovers or just stick with the JBAs? I am kind of between a OME and a JBA lift. I like the adjustability on the JBA if I at some point add a bumper or winch,or to just adjust for settling. Only downer I have heard about JBA is that I think I read the rear springs are stock rate and may settle quickly

Well unfortunately theres nothing you can do about the JBA springs going soft on the rear, as the heavy duty rear springs are unavailable but some members use Dakota monroe load adjusting coilover shocks in the rear, but that just mask the problem with the JBA rear springs.

For a CRD go with the 948s in the rear and keep it under 3" and you will be ok.

So am I better off to just get the JBA coilover 2.5 kit or get the JBA coilovers, JBA control arms, OME 948's and either Bilstein 5100 or the monroe shocks for a 03 dakota for the rear?

I measured the jeep today from center of wheel to bottom of fender flares. Driver front 18 5/8s, pass front 19, drivers rear 19, pass rear 17 3/4s. Kind of wonder if the fender flares are a little off as the measurements seem odd. Definitely thinking I want the JBA coilovers if for no reason other than adjustability.

The 790/948 combo is good kit for the CRD, with the OME shocks as well
Some have tried going with Bilstein etc and didn't work as well as with the OME shocks
The JBA adjustable coilover kit is the best out there for sure , order for the CRD and you are set to go.
I have it on my 04 and have a complete kit for my 03 sitting in the garage waiting
here are a couple of pictures of the last CRD I lifted for a customer in Kentucky
Full OME 790/948 combo with the OME shocks as well, plus JBA UCAs / 1/4 inch top plate and small clevis sitting at 22.75 before alignment 22.5 afterwards
