So who here has put together a 2.5" lift by selecting part by part? Specifically, what part numbers for the shocks (Bilstien or KY), Front & Rear Springs, etc?

Anyone willing to give it up, or is it a BIG, GIANT underground secret?

Secret?
Its posted everywhere
as far as shocks go OME 1st, 2nd Ironman and third Bilstein
as far as springs OME first, Ironman second
OME 927/948 combo works great for springs
But if you do a bit of reading you'll see everything you need and if not stop back and ask more questions
Assuming you have a KJ really be helpful to list what you have for future reference

I found this VERY helpful
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=44037

I personally like bilstein valving on my KJ. They work real good with the Old Man Emu springs I have.

Sorry about that, I assumed that it was a KJ only forum. I also assumed that the OME 927/928 was just the series and not an actual part number for an exact fit on the KJ? Same goes as far as the series of shocks. A part number will be the exact fit. Trust me, I've spent hrs on hrs reading this forum as well as several more that you frequent. There's tons of info (here and there), and tons of views on what and how, which can get a little confusing.

I have a bone stock 2004 KJ (not a Renegade) that I am wanting to lift/level 2.5"/3". I plan to use the stock aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires (size TBD). Not a toy, a daily driver for my wife that I occasionally use to get me into fishing and hunting holes.

OK for 2.5 inch lift, just go with the 927 front springs and 948 rear springs
that alone will get you 2.5 inches of lift over new stock height ( for example from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare in front will be 21.5 inches )
Great ride, way better handling than it ever was brand new
For shocks I have installed every combo there is but to be honest OME are the best , they also have internal bumpstops where the others do not
But Ironman and Bilstein both ride great as well
If you want to go with Ironman springs etc use the heavy duty ones front and rear, they only give 2.25 inches of lift though so would need to do a clevis or top plate to make up for it
For 3 inches of lift with the OMEs a 1/4 inch top plate will give you 1/2 inch more lift in front , add one extra upper iso on each side in the rear and it will sit at 3 inches and be nice and level
tires stick with 245-70-16s or 245-75-16 as the largest ( anything more you'll need more lift and a regear to 4.10s
Not complicated at all very easy to do

Has anyone tried the Fox with remote reservoirs and are they worth the extra money?

Yes for the higher end lifts ride and handling is great
I have the adjustable coilovers on my 04
The 03 I am currently getting ready to lift will have the JBA fully adjustable shocks front and rear ( compression and rebound)
My 04 rides so good couldn't go any other direction on this one

Thanks for info. I thought rebound adjustment was not possible on the size of shocks that fit the liberty?

The ones from JBA that I have ridden in rode real nice. They are QA1 shocks, same ones they have for the G-Body with some custom made items.

What works for a KK? I am currently looking for a 2.5" lift but am having a heck of a time finding a dealer that isn't trying to push their skyjacker crap on me. My KK is currently stock but I'm looking to add ATH front and rear bumpers and am concerned about sagging.

The front setup is the same for KJs and KKs, UCA are different though, for the rear shocks are the same but different springs
jeepinbyal has full OME kits for the KK
