Thats pretty much a stock size or one up Are you adding anything to the OME lift like clevis or top plate or just staying at 2.5 inches? Get the 927 front and 948 rear springs by the way BFGs are an ok tire, lots of people like them but may be better tires out there What types of roads/ where do you drive and maybe able to suggest something even better/ cheaper etc |

Ill just be doing the 2.5 ome for now and occasional off roading in so cal so mostly dry moderately rocky terrain. I was planning on doing the 927 948 with ome shocks i believe 132ls? I didnt know if i could go bigger without rubbing or worrying about the pinch weld. will 245 70 17 goodyear wrangler duratracs fit? *** quick note, was going to get rockfather II lift from rro, but im second guessing that and thinking about frankenlift II premium*** |

You'll be able to fit 245/70/17s with an OME lift. That's what I've been running with no extras besides a bit of clevis lift in the front and some trimming on the front air dam. |

Hi, I have an '06 KJ Sport CRD and I just bought a complete set of Moab rims with 245/75/16 tires mounted to them. I have been reading some posts and have been looking at the OME kit from JBA with the UCA and I'm a little confused. The OME kit states it is 1.5" of lift but some on here are stating they are achieving almost 4" of lift? If I just get the OME lift with the UCA from JBA's will I need anything else as in new top strut plates, isolators? Is it worth it to order the Frankenlift just for the simple fact it comes assembled to save the cost of paying someone to assemble the pieces as I don't have the tools to do so? Thanks. |

If you would read more you would see that the OME gives you 2.5 inches of lift ( 1.5 is advertised due to insurance reasons in Australia where they are made) NOW I assume or hope you are going with the OME 790s up front for your CRD and 948s in the rear. 245-75-16s will work with 2.5 inches of lft BUT if i was going to do it I would add in the 1/4 inch top plate for 1/2 inch more height, giving you 3 inches over all in the front. For the rear add one upper isolater per side to level it out. Frankenlift is more money in the end but also a great product, your choice. Getting a shop to compress them should only cost you 50-75 bucks total, tell them you'll come back for an alignment and some will give you a break I have done 2 CRDs for customers using the above and they came out great. Oh and pound over the pinch weld in front |

Thanks for the response. If I were to not add the spacers or the extra isolators, would it just level the Jeep out or make the front appear a little higher? I have seen some member's rigs that appear to ride a little higher in the front and I like the look. I don't ever plan on going bigger the 245/75/16 tires so the extra height doesn't concern me much. Thanks again. |

Thanks again. It would sit level or very near level to run 245-75-16s you would need to pound over the pinch welds as well |
