From what I've read in the past, I haven't seen the American Racing Baja wheels mentioned as a viable wheel for the KJ. Why not, as they are 4.5" BS? There are also two others on JBA, the Mojave and Pulley wheels, but they are more $$ and look similar. Do these fall into the category of being not strong enough? I think they are rated at 3100 lbs each.
I plan on running these with 245/75/16 Duratracs

Please slap me around if this is a bad idea. I do tow 6500 lbs several times a year.

8 inch wide and 4.5 inch backspacing is not ideal, 5 inch backspacing keeps the tires and wheels at the edge of the flare, so those will stick out some
PLUS if wanting to run a 8 inch wide wheel I would suggest a 265-70-16 , same height as the 245-75-16 but wider tread and fit on a 8 inch wide wheel a whole lot better

5" backspacing makes 245/75R16 tires look 'sucked in' on stock 16x7 wheels. Add 1.25" spacers (effectively 3.75" backspace) and they come out flush with the flares.

I picked up some 1.5" spacers to run with my free set of 225/75's. Hopefully I didn't go overboard :juggle:

I'll get a set of those Moabs when I get Duratracs, and use the spacer/stock wheel combo just for snow tires I think. Although do you have to heat up, and potentially weaken your studs to get break the red locktite free when you're done with the spacers? that would suck

I used the included red loctite sparingly... and the nuts came off again without heat.

I've switched to blue and its been holding fine too.

hmm, thanks for that. I think I'll run the thin amount of red myself.

I run a good sized bead of Red locktite on mine and they were tight but I got them off with the impact
