Post subject:  Suspension upgrade for heavy liberty

Hi All,

I've got a 05 Liberty CRD that runs on vegetable oil. It has a 33 gallon tank in the back, so a significant amount of added weight. I've been driving it for 70k miles since the conversion and it has 140k total miles. It has stock suspension. So, the suspension is starting to sag a bit from the load and I think it's time to upgrade. What would be the best way to go to handle the extra weight? Sorry if this is kind of a noob question.

thanks
duncan

Have you looked at Monroe load-helper shocks? They have a coil spring on them to help with extra weight. I'm running Dakota ones because I'm lifted, but there's probably a Liberty-specific application.
