Yes, several have observed this same issue. First thing to try is to add an extra quart of ATF+4 and see if that helps. The transmission dip stick is to long and hits the bottom of the transmission pan giving a false reading when it shows normal level. Some of us actually run ours with either 1 or 2 quarts extra to ensure fullness. This is a big transmission and can handle the extra fluid. If the extra fluid does not solve the problem, then the problem is most likely a sticking plunger in the front pump assembly (they are known for this). If that is the case, then you will have to find a good transmission shop and get them to replace the front pump assembly with the newer updated version....
