my jeep did the timing belt while driving at 100km/h what will be most likely damage and will i have to take the head off have taken front end off, rear belt cover off, though wondering about how to take off the rocker cover and that, pics would be great, and about re-timing the motor i was reading somewhere else using pins with first cylinder at 90 degrees at dead centre in the flywheel and turning the the two cams till the two other pins go into place Cheers |

Gas or diesel? If gas you should be just fine with a very rare chance of any damage due to valves hitting each other. If CRD then your looking at a new head at least. |

actually the CRD has designed break points at the rocker arms should take them out before breaking other things might repost over in CRD...Love that torque - you'll get more diesel responses. |
