I have an 06 with 2.5 Frankenlift and JBA 4.5 UCA. My upper ball joints are completely shot (wife's been driving me to work while I'm waiting on parts to arrive). I searched as best I could on here looking for the proper torque for the replacement ball joint (the four bolts holding the ball joint to the UCA) and the torque for the balljoint nut (balljoint to knuckle) but couldn't find anything. The ball joint I went with was the AC/Delco part number listed on JBA's website AC/Delco #45D0062.

I appreciate any help here - the parts arrived and I'm going to install tonight (6/22). Thanks all!

I have the original spec sheet from when I installed my JBA UCA several years ago. I want to say it's 7 or 8 ft-lbs but I'm not exactly sure. When I speak with my wife later on today, i'll have her look it up for me. I'm currently in Africa on deployment with the Navy. :CAMPING:

I know your post is a few weeks old, but please hold that thought.

I had my wife look up the information for me.

the 4 bolts that hold the ball joint to the UCA get torqued to 20 ft-lbs. please be sure they are grade 8 hardware. I got this information directly off the installation instructions I got from JBA when I installed mine. it also says to re-torque the bolts every 3000 miles.

the ball joint castellated nuts have a max toque spec of 125 ft-lbs.

Interesting thought on the part number. mine came with a Moog number.

good luck. I hope that helps.
