| Post subject: | Rear Bump stops with Econolift |
So I had a shop install my lift and instead of adding the 4" bump stops in the kit to the bottom perch they replaced they factory bump stops with them. Is that ok or should I add hockey pucks to the bottom perch? I'm guessing if you keep the factory bump stops you need to add hockey pucks to the bottom but if you replace the factory bump stops with the 4" in the kit you dont need to add anything to the bottom. Is this correct? |

Most times if people actaully do use them we let 2 inches of the new one about the same as using bumpstops . They were not made to replace the factory ones at all |

Correct way is to have the factory upper, then have 2 inches of bumpstop mounted to the lower spring perch. You can cut down the one that came with the kit to make it two inches tall, thats what we do here if not using hockey pucks |
