Don't know if this applies to everyone , unsure of the laws in other countries about having day time running lights. But I have 2004 liberty, I have installed extra led lights that come on when the vehicles on so I no longer need or want my headlights to automatically turn on, opened the fuse panel on driver side pulled "drl" relay and sure enough my headlights now only come on when I want them to... Simple enough right ? Well last night I went down a little dirt road near my house went to turn my high beams on and darkness.. Opened the fuse panel put the relay I luckily kept in the trunk back in and high beams . So my question is , anyway around this ? other than having to put the relay in when I need them or just install a set of roof lights ? |

I think the socket to the right of the drl socket is for highbeams. Put the relay in that socket and see if they work. |

You need the non-drl relay (it's like $10) for the other socket, also need dealer to reprogram ecu or the relay will flip out. |
