Does anyone here know how to remove the centre console on a 04 kj with manual trans ? I'm afraid to attempt it worried that I'll mess up my shifter or 4x4 shifter , e brake etc lol. So many things to f up... But I just purchased my kj a month ago and the previous owner spilled something that actually made the black plastic turn white and no matter what I do it looks like booty. Please help lol

On my 02 kj with auto trans the centre console is just a plastic cover held on by screws. It's fairly easy to remove. Just take out the screws and guide it up and out from all the shifter and e brake. Just put them in a position to allow removal. I don't think it would be any different for the manual trans.
