Since I didn't see this in the CRD section to answer, call green diesel engineering and do whatever they tell you.

Either stock factory replacement garrett
OR
GDE Turbo Kit (uses an upgraded Garrett turbo, modified for the CRD, and comes with the tune included in the price. (Very much worth it IMHO) http://www.greendieselengineering.com/SelectProd.action?prodId=7&manufacturer=Green+Diesel+Engineering&category=Liberty&name=Liberty+%28KJ%29+CRD+Turbo+Kit&model=+

There is cheaper stuff out there, but many, including the previous owner to my own CRD, have had these cheap Chinese units fail early and without much advance warning.

Name brand turbo only if you depend on your vehicle even a little. The ebay stuff might be good for budget builds that you're planning on abusing, and replacing, but won't cut it after a while. Something from Bosch, or Garrett would be your best bet, especially if you can get something that fits in the same spot with all the same hookup points.

That kit hasn't been available for years. No source for the turbo at a reasonable price. It's stock or Sasquatch Motorsports, and you really should post and read in the CRD specific forum. Tons of info and helpful people there.
