saw a post about wire chafing of the large harness under the fuel filter, thought I would check it out. it was ok but I found two places where the engine shroud had worn all the way thru the protective shield and the outer wire. one was the #1 injector and both wires were worn thru and appeared to be touching each other. fixed the chafing problem before it showed any symptoms or threw a code.
the shroud was also working it's way thru a hose on the passenger side, I think it's the ccv hose.

just something I thought you guys might wont to check next time you have the hood up.
