Post subject:  Nugget Hill trail run - with pics AND VIDEO!!

Saturday, May 13th, we set off with a KJ, a WJ, a YJ, and two TJ's to explore the south side of Nugget Hill near Boulder, CO. We found it to be a great little short run up to a fabulous overlook, but had to winch the KJ and WJ a little to get over the Nugget Hill rock outcropping. We also managed to break a rear shaft on the YJ, but luckily, it was a non c-clip axle and we didn't have to do a trail swap. I managed to scratch the rear bumper on my wife's KJ on the way down, but come to think of it, that's really my spotter's fault. I'll see if I can convince her of that! :D I have video, so I'll post it up soon

Edit: It looks like my pics have quit working; may be my ISP. Here's another source: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictu ... 2106324559

Video with KJ highlights is up and running now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsT8voYKrqg

I saw them but it took some work. Nice pics I will have to get to CO sometime. I mean it's just across a giant wheat field to get there.

They don't open for me either...I had to right click on each one, click properties and then cut and paste the image addy into a new web page to see them...Weird thing is...Once I did that they opened one by one in the window as I cut and pasted them.

I run a squid proxy and for some reason (bad vbulletin?) it doesn't like squid. I had to bypass my proxy in order to get the picture to load.

looks like a great time
that is about as close to the complete opposite as you can get compared to the type of ridding we do down here
we mostly got steep hills that go up about 20-50' but no rocks and when you go down its a dont even try to stop you could go heels over head
i need to get in on some of that kinda wheeling

Thanks for all the compliments!

- Check the Image Station links if you can't see the pics.
- This KJ has a LSD rear and open diff front. (Shhh... there's a Dana 30 solid axle in my garage that's been begging to get installed in the future.)
- My dog's a 10-month old Boxer for those who don't recognize them without cropped ears.

I'll work on the other pics to see if I can get them to show.
