I have a light bar switch I would like to mount and plan on and ARB locker at some point, so I was wondering where folks are mounting switches?

Just below the steering column, on both the left and right sides, are plastic trim covers. Easy places to add switches.
And in the fuse box panel next to the drivers door you might find a empty relay socket. One of those pins is an easy path to ground.
You might even find a unused key-on +12v socket. Just be sure to use a fuse appropriate for the amp draw of of your light.

good call. I already had all the wiring, switch, everything because I initially wired it into my high beams. There are a ton of elk and deer around here and my wife was driving home in the dark so I wanted to get it on asap. Now I have some time to actually install the switch so its independent.

Oh yeah, I can see that. I smash my knee on the spot occasionally.
