2006 Jeep Liberty CRD 2.8L diesel, NOT lifted, right front inner shaft and outer half axle / CV replacement

Where is the best place and best parts to get for longevity?

Is there anything I need in addition to part numbers 5066022AA & 5066057AB ?

What are the best brands of these parts to buy? Links would be appreciated.

I'm tired of ordering what turns out to be crappy parts for this Jeep.

A local salvage yard has an inner shaft for $60. I am calling on it tomorrow.

I do not normally use salvage parts. If they verify the part to be low mileage, I might go for it. My original part lasted 170,000 miles

I would rather buy a quality new part. But if I do not get any recommendations for quality new, I'd just as well install a used part.

DO NOT go to the salvage yard for an Intermediate shaft, they wear, should replace new CV with new Intermediate. If not you'll have issues down the road
Seen intermediate shafts on Ebay from reputable dealers
CV buy remanned one from NAPA
Stay away from the***zones etc

Rockauto has the Mopar intermediate shaft. I have not found the Mopar half axle yet.

Does anybody have good recommendation as to where I could buy both parts? I'm tired of searching and when that happens, I usually make a bad decision and just order from the next place I look at, no matter what they are selling

I am guessing this part is also crap. I did not see any Mopar parts on Amazon

I am going to order something soon. I ruled out rockauto because they do not have both parts from Mopar.

Or I didn't see the CV/half axle there. They have no customer service, so I can not verify that.

I checked at one of the Mopar parts websites and did not come up with the same part numbers I have - which I am pretty sure are correct. I'll try calling the dealer this morning.

Give me my GMT400's any day and screw these Jeeps. Parts are cheaper, you can get good quality parts and you can find them. And screw rocvkauto and their no service bull too
