Has anyone with a KJ done this that can help with how they did it? I like the look, and I know they make a kit for the Wrangler 7" headlights, but from what I have seen, the KJ headlights are a little different.

Tom thinks its silly.
And he is right. It is silly.
But lots of Jeep owners do silly things to their Jeeps.

Seroiusly though, I used black electrical tape.
If I took a close up you would see that its crappy black electrical tape. Im Surprised its stayed on as long as it has.

Ive seen some folks mask off the lens paint with that plasti dip spray paint stuff.

It may be silly, but I like the look...at least its not as silly as covering them with smoked out covers or spray....I spent too much money and value too much the aspect of having quality lights. Lord knows how much www.theretrofitsource.com has been my guilty pleasure...lol...I was just looking for a cool little touch without effecting the output of the lights. The projector retrofit I did, I would never cover up lmao....

I used the VHT spray and came out great... I can always remove it easily when I get bored of it, its holding up well and does not affect light sources at night
