Does anyone know/remember what kind of fog lights he has poking through the grille?
They sure don't look like the stock units from 2005/2006 regarding size/fit/placement.

I'm asking because mine seem to site about an inch back from the grill, I can easily stick a forefinger into the gap.
There's no adjustment to bring the lights forward inside the radiator core support, and the grille doesn't look like it (and the front bumper) can be adjusted to fit further back.

I'd rather not strip out my front end and find out that it just wont go back together the way the elves put it together the first time, what with the crushibles and plastic plugs, and probably 30 lbs of styrofoam inside the cover.

Anyway, short of making a career out of looking at hundreds of Chinese knock-offs on ebay and J.C.Whitney - anyone done this or remember back then if it was a 'thing' that was popular in '05/'06?

What about the rectangular cut-outs in the bumper cover below the headlights?
I assume thats for ducting air, but I was hoping to find a hack to put lights into there, as well, but I can't find any projects yet.

The blue one posted above is likely a Sport model, as it has the contoured front bumper, though it has fogs in the grille.
I'm unclear which combination of parts he's using, whether he swapped in a grille with fog cut-outs, or used a grille with no fogs and cut his own.

The vent cut-outs in the picture below, (not my picture), shows the vents in a 'Limited' front bumper:

They're under the marker/blinkers lights, and in the lower corners below the horizontal mid-line belt.
Subtle difference, I know.
The 'Limited' had the chrome grille, as opposed to black or body-color matched.

I will soon be replacing my yellowed/opaque factory fog lamps with new/clear OE replacements. That should improve the performance of the fog lamps.
I also plan to experiment with using 65 watt 9005 bulbs as opposed to the factory 45 watt 9145 bulbs.
There is a chance that the 65 watt bulbs could melt the lenses, so I will have to figure out a way to mitigate that.

Before you replace the lenses with ones that you fear or going to melt, why don't you buff up the yellowed ones and test the higher wattage bulbs in those first?

When I ran them in my 02 I had no lens melting issues with Sylvania ultrastars (silverstars?) 9005 65w

I installed much brighter 6000k LED bulbs in the OEM housings on my Jeep and both of my Dodge Trucks; not the cheap ones, much brighter now and give off much better light.
Good thing about LED's, the bulbs give off very little heat as opposed to Halogen bulbs which can scorch the clear plastic lens.
Ask me how I know this, cost me two housing on one of my Dodge trucks when I installed high wattage Halogen bulbs a couple years back...turned them both yellow on the inside!
Won't try that again!!!!!

Compare lumens vs price.
5000k to 6005k LED Color Temperature spectrum is best for whiter light.
Higher the k number the bluer it gets, and conversely the lower the k number the yellow to orange to red it gets.
