Ok i tried searching on the forms here for a good while with no luck but i'm sure this is a real common prob on kj's
trailer lighs t connectors or ?
any way long story ,just killed my second trailer light t connector in abt 6 years lost 1 side of my running lights and blew the fuse replaced the fuse t connector is dead just like last one last abt 1 to 2 years ... this one was Curt mfg 1st one i think was Reece
whats the best option on these Kj's ? went to dodge the want $80 for an oem mopar kit in a bag w a pig tail to cut up tail harness to crimp and butt splice or solder in their adapter that can't be the best option...
id like something along the t connector style w out a bunch of wire cutting
i use dielectric grease tape and seal it all up so i know moisture is not the issue here
thanks fellow Liberty owners in advance
God Bless

Are you sure your trailer circuit is not pulling too many amps and overheating the "Tee" connector?
You may want to try going to LED bulbs on the trailer and see if that helps...
Seems to me you might be overloading the circuit somehow?
