Hi, all,

I was wondering if anybody knows what replacement ball joints I should use on my older JBA A-arms.

2005 KJ w/ CRD. I got the 2.5 inch lift with the Adjust-A-Strut. I think this was the "gold" lift back then. This was probably around the summer of 2010.

The JBA website shows the K6292 ball joint, and lists AC/Delco #45D0062 and Raybestos #500-1062 for the Gen 4.5 KJ arms, but I know mine predate Gen 4.5.

I called JBA, but got the message that they were out on the trail, "testing parts." More power to them, I hope they're having a great time. But, meanwhile, I would like to get my ball joints replaced today or tomorrow if I can find the right part number and if the part store has them in stock. My car has a big "rejected" sticker on it right now for failing the ball joint component of the annual safety inspection and I have to drive it to work on Monday.

Either one should work or just order on line with JBA, they will be back in the shop Monday morning early

For those of you with older A arms, I was able to verify with JBA that all the older A arms with ball joints that bolt on with four bolts can use the K6292 ball joints. If the A arm has pressed in ball joints, you'll have to use something else.
