Are 2006 kj front upper ball joints replaceable ? I cant find a part number for them.

If your talking about the stock one, no they are not. you will have to replace the entire upper control arm. Its more aggravating than it is hard labor (I think at least)

a lot of people here install JBA's uppers. they have replaceable ball joints without replacing the entire arm. I've had a pair on my 2003 since 2011. the joints that come with the control arm are greasible. you can get them for lifted and in-lifted Liberty's.

The ball joints in the upper OEM control arms are not replaceable, you have to replace the whole control arm.
Be careful if you purchase an OEM type as there are many cheap knockoffs available like Crown and they are junk and will not last. :roll:

Some of the better OEM type brands to purchase are:
Mopar, PN 68068615AB
Moog, PN CK3198

or if you want the best as metalengineer suggested, purchase the upper control arms from JBA (Jeepinbyal) that have serviceable and replaceable ball joints.
