Post subject:  Grand Cherokee Alloys on my KJ

Hi, my first post here. I bought my KJ, a 2005 2.8 CRD Sport, three weeks ago and it came with the stock 16" steel rims fitted with 235/70R16 A/T tyres on the front, and 255/70R16 tyres on the back...I wanted to reduce the unsprung weight by fitting alloys and save some fuel by fitting low rolling resistance road-going SUV tyres. On ebay UK, I bought 5 used GC Ultrastar alloys and some brand new, good quality, Alfamotors DK365 235/70R16 106H tyres. According to the official Jeep wheel offset tables the Ultrastars should not fit without the use of 25mm wheelspacers...But they fit without spacers, perfectly!
