Hi all. I have a 2003 Jeep Cherokee 2.8 diesel CRD automatic limited edition. When I lock vehicle with remote no red light for alarm comes up on dash & hazard lights don't flash. When I put key in ignition & turn it on second click lights on dash will all come up but when I turn key fully will not crank, absolutely nothing. Only way I can start it is to put key in & turn until dash lights up then with bonnet/hood up I have had to take starter relay out & I touch a wire between points 30 & 87, this kicks vehicle into life. Also I can't leave battery connected when not in use as it drains, I have to remove negative terminal.Any ideas? Also i'm having real trouble getting a manual in the UK & am a bit old school so am looking for a paper manual? Thanks, Bill |
