I am looking at all terrain tires no matter what but I can't decide which size to get because everywhere I look gives me different answers. Some people can fit tires with no extra modifications after a lift and some can't. I am going to probably go with a skyjacker 2.5in lift. The size i want to put on my Liberty was would be 265 75 16s BFGs. The size down from that that I would prefer would be 255 70 16s. I want to get the absolute max tire height and width that i can with a 2.5 inch lift and no rubbing. Tell me what you guys have done and maybe I can go from there. I'm only a beginner and any advice is helpful to me.

Oh no a Skyjacker lift, :x  :( sorry do not go with a skyhacker, spring rate same as stock etc , shocks are cheap etc........
NOW with a proper 2.5 inch lift OME 927 front springs and 948 rear springs and either Bilstein or OME shocks, way better
Now for 265-75-16s you need 4 inches of lift and regear
for a 2.5 inch lift, 245-75-16s will work but would still lose power and gas mileage
I run 265-70-16s , same overall height as 245-75-16s , with 2.5 inches of lift and 4.10 gearing
You will also have to bend over the pinch welds in front

I run a 03 with 2.5 inches of lift and a 04 with over 4 inches of lift and 265-75-16s
I have lifted many KJs , have over 260,000 of lifted miles on mine

What he said.

I have a 2.5" lift also and 245/70/17 bfgoodrich tires which are the same with 245/75/16's in terms of diameter and width. I pounded the pinch welds to eliminate rubbing during tight turns.

Running 245/75R16.... good selection of truck tires in that size.

Some rubbing at full lock even with the lift, and pinch welds done. Don't really care.
