I got a 02 KJ and i have installed a 2.5" spacer on the top of my strut, i got the clevis and everything attached to the LCA but i cannot get the knuckle to come even close to the upper ball joint. i put a jack under the LCA and tried to jack it up with the vehicle sitting on jack stands but it lift the whole vehicle with no movement of the LCA. I put a 1.5" spacer on the rear coils so im not sure if i need to try a smaller lift on the front or what. this is just a camp vehicle/ work vehicle to keep the miles off of my truck and im not wanting to spend a fortune on a lift, i bought the lift off of ebay and it was like 150.00 bucks for front and back... Any suggestions on how to get everything reattached. The coil is currently hitting on the unibody on one side and rubbing the CVA boot but isnt on the other, however i cant get either side attached to the UCA..
If i loosen and adjust the camber on the LCA will this help?
TIA
First you went with one of the worst ways to lift a KJ as they ever came up with, sorry but with weak springs and shocks not good
second if measures 2. 5 inches or does it say 2.5 inches of lift
Third you can get it to connect, bar in or over top of the UCA and pry down as you put pressure on the LCA
report back
OH if you really want to finish screwing things up loosen the LCAs , please do not !
Now as far as not wanting to spend very much, do you want a good ride as well ? Or rough ride and wear parts out faster ?
