2006 CRD auto flair on 2 to 3 change.

Post subject:  2006 CRD auto flair on 2 to 3 change.
after suggestions. Not my jeep. its done about 100,000 miles, recently started fairing when changing from 2nd to 3rd. I thought it maybe a faulty solenoid valve not locking the engaging clutch pack quick enough. Dont know. was hoping some one with experience with these autos may be able to make a suggestion.
Any comments appreciated.

1st, check fluid level.
2nd, change the fluid and filter.

My initial impression is a worn out clutch pack.
But could also be something in the valve body. Like maybe a broken accumulator spring or bad accumulator seals.

Thanks flash. your comments are appreciated. I once had a Mercedes car do this but it got worse over about 30,000 miles. it was a clutch pack. This one has just happened all of a sudden & its only a low mileage.

BTW the check engine light is on.
