Front and Rear shocks are dead on my 2005 KJ. Currently have OME all around.

Can anyone help me with the part number for Bilsteins front and rear shocks for this KJ. (Lift 3 inches with OME coil springs)

Thanks!

Shocks:
Bilstein Brand: 4600 Heavy Duty (B6)
Part Number Position
24-139168 Front
24-139175 Rear

When lifted, 4600 Heavy Duty (B6) PN: 33-185859 for the rear of the Dodge Dakota (club cab 4x4 only) works great up to a 4 inch lift.

ShockWarehouse.com is good place to purchase Bilstein Shocks for any vehicle.

Thank you for the information. Do I need to get new bushings if I go with the 4600 Heavy Duty (33-185859) for the rear of the Dodge Dakota? Or will the bushings that come with that shock fit the Liberty?

My understanding is they fit perfectly and come with everything needed.
But someone like T Mudd could answer that question for sure as I believe he has installed many sets of the rear Dakota shocks on KJs.

OK thanks! I appreciate it. Hopefully someone can confirm if the rear shocks for the Dakota will work as is without modification.

The OME's lasted me 17,000 miles in two years and they are completely dead now. I was expecting much more out of them. Going to give Bilsteins a try now.

When I check the information for the front struts it says that they are for a vehicle with 0” lift, please advice.

With the amount of travel they have, they will work fine for a vehicle up to 2.5" lift. Anything with higher lift really needs to go to Coil Overs and upper control arms by JBA.

A good place to buy Bilstein Shocks is Shock Warehouse:> https://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cf ... _year=2005
They have free shipping also! :D
