Go easy with the throttle on turns and just get used to hearing odd noises at odd times. |

Wuze, When you come to the first stop sign to make a right or left, stomp the piss outta the gas pedal when you take off, hold on to the steering wheel. Go to a crowded parking lot and listen while pulling in and out of spaces. Thats about the extent of the negative.
After that, you have to make your own adjustments. If driving on the road becomes a problem, drive on the side of the road.

Haha, isnt the1jferg so funny!! Anyway, dont get on and off the gas really fast, also not off and on. Dont floor it from a stop, give it some gas THEN floor it only when going straight. I hope you like alot of banging and popping!! |

Yeah, what they said. Don't let your wife drive it until you get used to driving it because she will be pissed that you ruined the Jeep. But it is all worth it when you hit the trails. |

Gosh thats so true. At first I thought... What have I done to my jeep... Then I got used to it and love it. Everytime I pull out my tires sqeel, the jeeps jumps when pulling into parking places, people turn there heads when it pops in and out, but overall its great! 
Ohh, the1jferg, the 8.25 seems to hold up purty good. Ive never heard of anyone breaking for except for at moab. |

In the rain and snow light on the gas, unless you want to slide sideways usually towards your right, if you do start to slide ease off the gas, and have some fun! The only thing I do have against my Power Trax is that it sometimes unlocks on tight trails, and in the mud, thats not good! But other than that I climb just about anywhere. Al |

I've YET to slide sideways on wet pavement with either a powertrax or trutrac. I can tell you my chevy truck and KJ used to slide like heck before lockers were installed. Have not tried the snow or ice. The no-slip grabs hard and lurches. I guess if one were running MT's, unsiped, or a poor wet weather street tire they could slide. If I get on it pretty hard during a fresh rain at a traffic light, it never breaks loose enough to slide, only enough little slips to give it that "I'm grabbing as much as I can" un-nerving no-slip feel. My tru-trac is smoother than a baby's stupid Wuze, Its past monday??? Hows it going?? |

My first time on ice with it, I gave the gas a little nudge and I spun completely around. Did not expect it. It is not that bad once you get used to it. Changing gear lube frequently seems to help with the noise. |

"Changing gear lube frequently seems to help with the noise." That is a fact, wonder why? The stuff don't look used?? My best weight so far is 85w-90 regular, 75-140 syn makes more noise in mine, additive gums it up so bad it operates slow. |

i have no problems with the powertrax works perfekt and i can live with noise
thanks for your reply someone can tell me the partnumber of the trutrack for the front brcause my friend from fl is here and he shipp it to me when he is back home
