New to Jeeps and had ETC warning light flashing at me after a few weeks of happy motoring. No issues while driving with easy start and plenty power and revs. Concerned in case it went into limp mode. Advised not to trust local Jeep Dealership so called mobile mechanic to fault find. He said only reading he could get was for fault number 3 glow plug. Said that glow plug control relay could also be the cause.
I could not see any logic in diagnosis and that info was his face saver to justify call out fee.
In desparation i went to local wrecker and replaced relay.
PROBLEM FIXED !
