I currently have a 235/65R17 on my car but I want to add will be adding 2" wheel spacers and a 2.5" lift kit and I am wondering if anyone would know if a 235/75R17 would rub anywhere or would it actually fit with the modifications I would do? Thanks. |

235/75R17 is a 31” tire. That may rub a bit at full lock/articulation with just a 2.5” lift. You may need to pound over the pinch welds and trim some plastic in the front wheel wells. The wheel spacers will most likely accentuate the rubbing because the wheels will steer in a wider arc. One other wrinkle depends on the type of lift you plan to install. If it’s OME or JBA then it will improve your ride and last a long time. If it’s a spacer lift you can expect it to sag your stock springs within a year, meaning even more rubbing. |
