new to lost jeeps.I bought a 2005 crd and it runs like a bear but smokes like the coal plant i work at. it rolls down the highway at 80 no problem but till it gets to 40 itrolls coal like crazy over tuned or big problem. I bought the truck with no history from a used car lot they didnt know anything about it. it has plenty of power but i dont like the smoke and really bad fuel mileage 1/4 tank 50 miles any help wuld be greatly apprecated thanks Andy

Check the turbo vane actuator rod for proper movement.

Check (bypass) the vacuum control solenoid and vacuum canister/hoses for leaks / and proper operation.
